Let’s start with the flasks…
They are not* meant to invoke the cultural authority of science. They are not* exclusively about conjuring an image of the occult through symbols borrowed from an alchemist’s lab. They are meant to symbolize the kind of attention I pay to myself, others, and the world around me. They are images that capture my focus on gathering data-driven insights that foster meaningful and sincere experiences for precisely those who need them.
And since you already looked at the photo…
What does it say that I am donning a backward cap? What kind of a boat is that? How many brands do you see in the photo? What am I looking at and/or smiling at/about? Is that a jacket with shorts? What am I, cold or too “cool” to not wear a jacket?
Finally, for the words not “painted” in the photo…
This picture won’t tell you that for all my experience writing in social, digital, print, and branded environments as presented in promotions, in-market banner ads, text message giveaways, engagement systems, non-profit campaigns, poetry, short stories, and more; for all of my strategy experience in brand identity, learning efficacy, content planning, creative directing, auditing, and data analytics, I am utterly terrified of roller coasters. Also, I’m an avid reader of all things analytic psychology and phenomenological philosophy. There is no doubt in my mind that those are all interconnected.
